His musical journey has seen him gracing stages worldwide, delivering stellar performances in showbands on cruise ships, and collaborating with prominent big bands and orchestras throughout Texas.

Mr. Cermak's portfolio boasts collaborations with luminary figures in the jazz sphere such as Wayne Bergeron, Bobby Shew, Allen Vizzutti, Louis Cole, Genevieve Artadi and the like, underscoring his position as a sought-after musician on the global stage. His tenure in 2016 with the Queen’s Room Orchestra aboard the MS Queen Elizabeth and subsequent engagements with P&O Oriana and Crystal Serenity are testaments to his prowess and versatility.

Currently, Mr. Cermak maintains a robust performance calendar in Texas, notably with the Austin Nines, Boss Street Brass Band, Brazosport Jazz Orchestra, Christian Wiggs Big Band, Kingwood Big Band, NOW Jazz Orchestra, Pictures, Royal Dukes Band, Stereomonde, among others. Beyond performance, his acumen extends to the academic sphere. He has shared his expertise through brass and jazz private lessons across various school districts and has conducted masterclasses spanning the Houston and Austin vicinities.

Originating from Lake Jackson, Texas, Mr. Cermak possesses a B. M. in Music Education from Sam Houston State University. His academic accomplishments there were multi-faceted, encompassing engagements with the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and more. Presently, he is elevating his academic pursuits at the University of Texas, working towards a Masters in Jazz Studies studying with Mike Sailors and Diego Rivera. Furthermore, he plays a pivotal role as one of the Teaching Assistants for the Jazz Faculty within the esteemed Butler School of Music.

Beyond his educational pursuits, Mr. Cermak's endorsements and affiliations are noteworthy. He is an Endorsing Artist for Phaeton Trumpets and holds esteemed memberships with the International Trumpet Guild, Texas Music Educators Association, and other notable institutions.
